Itinerary of the experience
Friday 14th of February
- Airport Transfer: Arrive at Capodichino or Costa D’Amalfi airports and enjoy a seamless transfer to the charming village of Taurasi. Pick up at 4pm
- Accommodation: Stay at the B&B Antiche Dimore, located just a short walk from the majestic Marchionale Castle of Taurasi. The rooms, equipped with private bathrooms, Wi-Fi, TV, and a coffee machine, provide a comfortable and welcoming environment.
- Welcome Aperitif: Kick off your stay with a delightful aperitif at Nonna Ionna at 7pm, featuring a tasting of Taurasi wines and an introduction to your weekend tour.
- Welcome Dinner: Indulge in a special Valentine’s dinner at Nonna Ionna, complete with a dedicated menu and live musical entertainment for an unforgettable evening.
Saturday 15th of February
- Start Your Day with Authentic Breakfast: Enjoy a genuine breakfast at the B&B Antiche Dimore, starting at 8:30 AM.
- Visit to Antonio Caggiano Winery: Join a guided tour of this renowned and charming winery in Taurasi. From 10:00 to 11:00.
- Cooking Class and Lunch: Participate in a cooking class with Antonio Cannavacciuolo, a chef and entrepreneur from London, from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The activity includes a visit to the local market to purchase ingredients, which will be used during the cooking class. Conclude with a delightful lunch at Nonna Ionna.
- Guided Tour of the Marchionale Castle of Taurasi: Explore the castle and discover its fascinating history from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
- Cocktail Masterclass: Before dinner, take part in a cocktail masterclass with Simona Reipaite, bar manager at Bacchanalia London.
- Gourmet Dinner at Sella Bistrot: Enjoy a special menu dinner at the foot of the Marchionale Castle of Taurasi.
Sunday 16th of February

You can cancel your booking up to 14 days before the arrival date with a full refund. For cancellations made after this point, 50% of the amount will be retained. Cancellations within 7 days of the event are non-refundable.
A dedicated driver will meet you upon arrival at your chosen airport (Naples or Salerno) and take you comfortably to Taurasi. On departure day, you'll be returned to the airport, with arrival scheduled at 4:30 PM.
Yes, the village of Taurasi is well-connected to Naples and Salerno via main roads. If you prefer, you can drive directly to Taurasi with your own vehicle. Una vera gemma nascosta! La Trattoria Nonna Ionna è un autentico paradiso per gli amanti della cucina. Piatti con prodotti freschi che deliziano il palato e ti fanno sentire come se fossi in campagna dalla proprio nonna. L’ambiente è elegante ma non formale. Lo staff eccezionale, cordiale e simpaticissimo. È stata un’esperienza culinaria straordinaria che non vedo l’ora di ripetere.

The bistro is really a good reason for a short trip to Taurasi, next to the magnificent landscape and unique vineyards. The restaurant is run by Luigi Caggiano’s family, one of the best wine producers in the area. The ingredients are incredible fresh and tasty (even the lettuce, I don’t remember last time I have had something like that one). The meat ragù, a dream. The antipasti selection as well. And of course the wine: one can navigate through the whole Sella delle Spine production: Greco, Fiano, Falanghina, up to the Campi taurasini Aglianico and of course the Taurasi. A monumental expression of the terroir. I have really loved the interior design and the privacy given by an adequate distance between tables. The staff (the family) is fantastic. One can notice they really care about guests. Wonderful

Visited this place on my last day in Italy. Super friendly people, the food was simply delicious, they speak perfect English and even offered to prepare some chicken for my dog. Whatever you order… DO NOT skip the Tiramisu at the end – it’s amazing.
