Greco di Tufo DOCG “Narciso”: why we like it
This Greco di Tufo DOCG white wine is obtained from the meticulous selection of 100% Greco grapes from vineyards located on the hills of Santa Lucia, in the municipality of Santa Paolina.
The grapes are harvested by hand in 20 kg boxes around mid-October and then transported to the cellar where they are carefully processed. Maceration takes place cold in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, followed by soft pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature. The refinement process takes place for a period of 4 months, initially sur lie in stainless steel tanks and then finished in the bottle.
The specific properties of this wine pair elegantly with seafood dishes such as oysters, raw seafood, but also with seafood first courses and second courses such as noble fish and flavored white meats. It is recommended to taste it at a serving temperature of 8 – 10°C.
