Vino spumante Brut “Oro”: why we like it
The grapes come from native white grape varieties’ vineyards located in the hill towns of Luogosano and Sant’Angelo all’Esca, facing south/est at an altitude of 350 m a.s.l., and implanted on a clayey-calcareous soil.
The grapes, harvested at the right ripeness level, are entirely and softly pressed. The must is cold clarified and fermented at a low temperature. This is followed by the sparkling process which takes place using the “Charmat” method, then in an autoclave for a period of 6 months.
It is perfect as an aperitif combined with light tapas, mixed fried foods, raw seafood or vegetables, pasta or rice salad. Service temperature of 6-8°C.
