The wine shows a deep ruby red color, enhanced by garnet reflections. The bouquet is rich and enveloping, with notes of ripe cherry, blackberry and plum intertwined with delicate hints of spice, tobacco and a light touch of vanilla, conferred by the passage in wood. The palate is soft and balanced, with smooth tannins and a pleasant freshness that enhances drinkability. The finish is long and persistent, with fruity and spicy hints.

Harvesting is by hand in crates of a maximum of 20 kg, so as to preserve the integrity of the berries all the way to the cellar.
Careful winemaking follows in keeping with tradition, with maceration on the skins and fermentation at a controlled temperature to extract maximum structure and varietal aromas. Soft pressing results in an elegant and well-balanced wine. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels, an essential step to give softness to the tannins and impart complexity to the aromatic profile.
