Tenuta Cavalier Pepe is one of the most renowned wineries in Irpinia, a symbol of excellence in the Campanian wine scene. The Pepe family has dedicated generations to producing high-quality wines that authentically express the territory. Thanks to the intuition and entrepreneurial vision of Angelo Pepe, an innovative production system was established, encompassing a winery, vineyard estate, restaurant, and bed & breakfast. Cavalier Pepe’s commitment and dedication to enhancing Irpinia’s viticulture have also been recognized at an institutional level. In 1998, the then-President of the Republic, Oscar Luigi Scalfaro, awarded him the title of Cavaliere della Repubblica for his contributions to the wine sector.
Today, Tenuta Cavalier Pepe is led by Milena Pepe, who has carried on the family legacy with determination, blending tradition and innovation. After studying enology and viticulture in France, Milena returned to Irpinia to enhance the region’s winemaking heritage. With her international vision and deep respect for the terroir, she has solidified the winery’s reputation, earning numerous awards and accolades both in Italy and abroad.

At Cavalier Pepe Winery, vineyards are cultivated with great attention to natural balance, following an environmentally respectful approach. The estate spans 60 hectares of vineyards, located in the municipalities of Luogosano, Sant’Angelo all’Esca, and Taurasi—an area particularly suited for producing prestigious DOCG wines from Campania.
