Aglianico Taburno DOCG
Aglianico del Taburno DOCG
Aglianico del Taburno DOCG represents another star of the enogastronomic landscape of the Campania region: since 2011 this wine has obtained the prestigious DOCG and it is exclusively produced in the 13 municipalities located in the district of Benevento. The hilly landscape (with an elevation between 200 and 650 metres above sea level) and a mild weather characterise its production area. Aglianico del Taburno DOCG wine is characterised by a ruby red colour, which tends to a garnet shading with the gradual aging process. This wine has a dry and robust taste with a persistent smell, remotely reminding the wood of the barrels in which it is preserved.
