Even in the case of Taurasi DOCG Riserva, the majority of local winemakers prefers a 100 per cent Aglianico vinification, for this reason this wine is also called “Aglianico in purity”. Before being available for sale, Taurasi DOCG Riserva is aged for almost 4 years, 18 months of which in oak barrels.
