Eliseo Santoro: niche family viticulture

The Eliseo Santoro winery was born from the passion of Eliseo Santoro, who has managed the winery inherited from his predecessors since 2000. Located in Paternopoli, in the heart of Irpinia, the estate extends over an area with ideal climatic conditions, characterized by strong temperature variations which favor the production of high quality wines. Eliseo, together with his wife Ivana, has transformed the company into an icon of resilience and dedication, with a strong link between tradition and innovation​.

My wine cellar is the hub of the family winery’s wine production. Here, my passion for winemaking translates into high-quality artisanal wines that reflect local traditions and winemaking innovation. Using high-quality local grapes and traditional methods combined with modern technologies, my winery manages to create wines that express the personality and goals of the Santoro family.

The Irpinia area is renowned for its vocation for viticulture. The winery grows its grapes with sustainable methods, respecting the environment and enhancing native varieties. The vineyards, located in hilly positions with optimal sun exposure, offer extraordinary grapes capable of making wines of exceptional quality that celebrate the uniqueness of the Irpinia area.

With passion and dedication, based mainly on the natural factors of the grapes and vines we grow, we thus manage to obtain the creation of three important Campania wines, all collected under the famous Campania IGP designation, made organically: the Campania Aglianico IGP Bio and the Campania Falanghina IGP Bio, both in the Traditionis line, and another version of wines with Falanghina grapes, the Campania Falanghina IGP “Limpha” Bio.
