Cantina DLP: tradition, innovation, and respect for the environment

Our agricultural estate, Cantina DLP, is located in the heart of Taurasi, at Contrada San Pietro 46, one of the most renowned areas for producing fine wines. Spanning approximately 8 hectares, 4 of which are dedicated to vineyards, we exclusively cultivate Aglianico di Taurasi, a native grape variety that embodies the essence of our land. Our mission is to produce high-quality wines in the most natural way possible, respecting both the environment and the consumer. For this reason, all our grapes are hand-harvested, following ancient traditions, and every stage of the process, from harvest to winemaking, is carried out with the utmost care.

To ensure sustainable agriculture, we adopt the Integrated Pest Management method, significantly reducing the use of chemical treatments. We rely on natural solutions and biodynamic practices to promote a production process that respects the ecosystem and people’s health. Furthermore, to enhance our viticultural heritage, we have cloned the native Aglianico variety using century-old local vines through a grafting process at the Rauscedo company. This allows us to preserve the unique characteristics of our grapes and produce wines that fully express the identity of our territory.

In the winery, we work with dedication to preserve the purity and authenticity of the grapes. Every step, from fermentation to aging, is designed to enhance the natural qualities of the Aglianico variety. The result is authentic wines that encapsulate our deep connection to the land and our passion for viticulture.
