Spumante Brut Irpinia Greco DOC \u201cLisetta\u201d: why we like it<\/h2>\n

\u201cLisetta\u201d is obtained from the careful selection of 100% Greco grapes, coming from vineyards with an average age of 18 years, planted on calcareous-clayey soils located in the municipality of Santa Paolina, in the Irpinia region.<\/p>\n

The grapes are harvested by hand at the end of September and transported to the cellar in boxes weighing no more than 20 kg, to then be carefully processed. The sparkling wine production takes place through the Charmat Method, with slow refermentation and a sur lie refinement period in temperature-controlled stainless steel autoclaves, after which it spends at least 4 months in the bottle. The final product should be stored in a cool place (8 – 10\u00b0C, humidity 65 – 75%), away from sources of light and heat, sudden changes in temperature and intense odors, and has a shelf life of 18 months.<\/p>\n

The characteristics of this sparkling wine make it ideal in combination with seafood dishes such as fried prawns and calamari, with second courses such as sushi and octopus in salad, but it is also excellent with desserts such as fruit cakes and dark chocolate desserts. It is recommended to taste it at a serving temperature of 8\u00b0C.<\/p>\n
