Fiano di Avellino DOCG “Refiano”: why we like it
Fiano di Avellino wine is produced from the vine of the same name, formerly called Vitis Apicia, brought to Italy by the Greeks. The vineyards are located in the hilly area of the municipality of Lapio, Montefredane and Candida and have a type of soil from marble to calcareous with many volcanic elements.
The grapes, harvested by hand, after a careful selection in the cellar, are whole pressed. The must is cold clarified and the fermentation process is carried out at a low temperature. At the end, after fermentation, the wine refines on its own fine lees and then in the bottle.
Ideal for food and wine pairings with seafood and shellfish dishes, with seafood salad, vegetable flan and legume soups, tempura, tasty broths and delicate first courses. Service temperature of 10°- 12°C.
